"From house to house, Badran weaves historical tales, painting a picture of what life was like for early settlers in the city, and carefully explaining how each element relates to life in the historic Dubai Creek."
— CNN Travel
Dubai's historic beginnings tell a story like no other, and on this tour we will dive right into it.
We'll trace the city's transformation from humble trading port to cultural crossroads, starting at a museum that unpacks its journey from desert to global destination.
Then it's into the Spice Souk, where cardamom and saffron lift right out of burlap sacks and into your senses. The glow of the Gold Souk pulls us down lanes of bangles, bridal sets, and sparkling shopfronts.
Dubai Creek is the city's old heartbeat and we'll cross it the way traders always have, on a wooden abra boat.
Wind towers, timeless tales, and the aroma of freshly brewed Arabic coffee.
The charming Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood comes next, with its towering wind towers and hidden courtyards that whisper stories of old Dubai.
We'll sip Arabic coffee, swap stories, and close the experience with a local Emirati meal that captures the essence of Dubai's soul: warm, diverse, and unforgettable.

"The vacation of our life wandering with Nada 🤩"
We had an incredible time wandering with Nada and my daughter. She organised a private tour for 3 days to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Khor Fakkan & Sharjah. Incredible things we would never have done without her. From the Grand Mosque of Abu Dhabi to culture and museum in Al Ain to a private meal with a local in Khor Fakkan and an amazing tour to souks, mosque and local festivals in Sharjah. She gave us an amazing positive view of the emirates and how local people could be so welcoming and heartwarming. You can book or ask het private tours with closed eyes, you’ll not be disappointed!! Thanks Nada ❤️

"A quick visit to the Grand Mosque."
What a delightful afternoon wandering with Nada. We toured during a layover on my way from Dubai to Maldives. She is knowledgeable, down to earth, sharing what we have in common and what makes her country unique. You can ask her anything! She also recommended a lovely dinner on Saadiyat Beach. Great resource for a woman traveling alone.

"History, gold, spices and the best tour guide ever !"
We feel blessed to have found Wander with Nada and wish we could give more than 5 stars. We really wanted to see, feel and learn about Old Dubai and its history. Nada explained everything perfectly, the tour was structured so well and we were given a true insight into the richness of culture and diversity. The lunch at the end was sensational. We can’t thank Nada enough for providing one of the BEST tours we’ve ever had anywhere in the world.

"Highly recommended!"
As an Emirati, a couple of friends invited me to join to ‘refreshen up my culture Knowledge’ and I’m very glad I went. Nada’s hospitality and attention to detail reminded me of the past and took me to places that I haven’t visited in a while! All smiles and super informative, I strongly believe she is what all tour guides should be! Highly recommended and I will definitely be checking the other tours.

"Discovered the City I call home in a unique way!"
Nada is an incredible guide! Bubbly, informative and professional. I have been living in Dubai for 7 years and I discovered the city in a way I never did before! Learnt new things about emirati culture, felt enchanted by the spice market and devoured a delicious meal I never tried before! She is present, and so smooth in how she takes us between the different areas of old dubai, seamlessly gliding between abras and walking between spots. HIGHLY recommend! Wish I had a Nada style tour wherever I went in the world!

"Accessible & Accommodating Tour of Old Dubai"
We had the most incredible and authentic experience with Nada! Not only was she very knowledgeable about the past, but also referred to the history and how it pertained to today’s culture and influence. We really understood more about how and why Dubai is a melting pot of the world. We are a family of 4 - a wheelchair user and child, included. Nada made sure the accommodations from the boat ride to the lunch restaurant were accessible. It was the perfect day in Dubai, and it still left us with plenty of time to enjoy all the other attractions the city has to offer!

"Fantastic day in Dubai/Abu Dhabi"
So glad we found Nada online and set up a tour while in Dubai. Nada was quick to respond with the perfect intinerary. We were picked up at our hotel and set off on an unforgetable afternoon in Old Dubai. We visited the gold and spice souks and learned a lot about local customs & history of the UAE. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch then headed off the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Words cannot express how fortunate we were to visit the exquisite mosque and have such a knowledgable, patient, friendly guide. Thank you Nada, if we're ever back in your beautiful city we will plan another adventure.

"Amazing experience!"
Had a 3 day private tour with Nada a few days ago -old Dubai, Dubai landmarks and trip to Abu Dhabi. All tours were excellent! We got a deep understanding of Dubai’s evolution, and experienced Emirati culture and food. Nada made sure to include everyone in the tour. For the children, she had little activities to keep them engaged and gifts which they enjoyed. She made sure we were comfortable and taken care off every step of the way. We really enjoyed her company and cannot recommend her tours enough! If you are considering a tour with her, just do it! You will have a great experience!

"An Unforgettable Day with Nada!"
Totally agree with previous reviewers: Nada is terrific! Our tour of Abu Dhabi, the Louvre, the Presidential Palace, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and (especially!) lunch at a local kebab cafe, was wonderful. And Nada was the perfect companion - knowledgeable, efficient, fun and friendly. All in all, an unforgettable day with an unforgettable person. Thank you Nada!

"Best part of trip to Dubai"
I wandered with Nada once before five years ago, and think you simply cannot do any better if you want an engaging, deeply knowledgeable and truly enthusiastic local to show you what makes Dubai and the UAE more than malls and sand. It is a wonderful way to explore another emirate (more laid back than Dubai), cross through desert and mountains to the other coast, experience Emirati hospitality and visit a beautiful mosque at sunset on the way back. I’m looking forward to the next wander already! Thank you, Nada, for a most memorable day out!
