Getty Museum Challenge
While we’ve all been struggling with staying-at-home boredom, the Getty Museum has proposed an incredibly fun activity for art-lovers to unleash their creativity from the safety of their homes. Inspired by the Rijksmuseum Museum and Between Art and Quarantine Instagram account from Amsterdam, the challenge is to recreate one of your favorite artworks using 3 objects that you find around your house. It’s been absolutely hilarious and quite impressive to see many of the posts that have been shared worldwide under the hashtags #betweenartandquarantine and #tussenkunstenquarantaine . A guaranteed laugh during these times. Hope you like my recreations below. Huge shout-out to my creative directors Dana and Mo.
I’d love to hear what you guys think! Also, if you have any suggestions for artworks you’d like to see me attempt to recreate, please do COMMENT below!
